The Training Games Portfolio

Staff training using flash games

We were tasked by an Agency in the US to make interactive training games for the Old Navy stores (part of GAP inc.). These games would be used to train new recruits. The concept was to make learning fun and to put the games on a hand-held device. We made games that would train the member of staff on how to fold clothes, colour co-ordination, clothing arrangement and other things. On completion of all games and videos, we were then tasked with putting all the different games, videos and training content together into a single working module to be installed on the hand-held device.

Flash Piano Training

‘My Little Baldwin Club’ is a web site where parents and children can learn to play the piano together.
We created these interactive flash piano lessons that teach the children how to play the piano. The project involved making a wide range of interactive piano tools and syncing voiceovers with the flash animation. You can view the sample lessons here.

United Utilities Presentation and Quiz

Our flash and powerpoint presentations can be used on training courses or promotional CD’s. United Utilities asked for a presentation to be made about legislative procedures, we added an interactive quiz and used their own style guides for the layout.

‘One Stop’ staff training

One Stop required online tutorials for training their staff in stock control. We used their graphics to produce presentations with mild interaction and voice overs.

Staff training presentation - Girl Scouts

We were asked by Readers Digest, who support ‘Girl Scouts fund raising ideas’ to complete a presentation that they could not do (in-house), their issues involved;
- matching the voice overs to the presentation
- creating 11 sections that could be loaded independently
- adding a pre-loader to each section
- using their already existing assets and not trying to sell them a new project, like many of the other places they had been to.

We were happy to modify their existing work and fix their problems. We are often asked to step in with our skills in flash programming to help fix issues that others are finding difficult. If you’re struggling with a flash project then feel free to contact us and we will try to help.
